11/17/10 Gaylord National Resort at the National Harbor launched their annual “Christmas On The Potomac” with the lighting of a huge glass Christmas Tree, fireworks and indoor snowfall followed by the grand opening of ICE!
ICE! is a collection of ice sculptures made on site by artisans from China and displayed in a specially built tent which is kept well below freezing. Visitors are handed parkas to wear as they enter. This year’s theme is Dr. Suess’ “Grinch Who Stole Christmas.”
Great pictures! What a lovely event.
