Halcyon House with Speaker of the House

[Speaker Pelosi has known Chris Murray, owner of Govinda Gallery, since he was a child.]

10/22/10  Georgetown’s Halcyon House was the site of a party hosted by Govinda Gallery (a gallery that specializes in rock and roll photography) for the launch of the book “Elvis, 1956” to coincide with an exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery. The guest of honor was Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

[J.P. McDermott and Western Bop belting out the Rockabilly and 50s tunes. They were great.]

[I never saw Denny Hastert doing this.]
