04/05/10 I took a tour of the medical university in Semipalantinsk which is like any med school but because of its proximity to the nuke test site makes a special study on the effects of radiation. As you enter the college you can’t help but notice a large cabinet filled with embryos of babies with birth defects. I’m including 2 images of them here not to be sensational but to show how terribly the people of the region suffered.
