08/26/09 When I heard of Senator Kennedy’s death, I thought about all the photos I’d taken of him during my 6 years as photographer at The Hill Newspaper and afterwards.

Above is one of my favorite images. It was taken last April, a month before his brain cancer was diagnosed. Senator Kennedy chats with students from Harvard’s Institute of Politics as his 2 dogs wander around the room in Dirksen SOB.
